National Center for Civil and Human Rights
The Association for Specialists in Group Work hosted a free member event at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. This museum and cultural institution connect the U.S. Civil Rights Movement to human rights challenges today. The museum believes in justice and dignity for all with the power of people to make this real.
The museum philosophy is congruent with the ASGW mission to practice effective, socially just, and ethical group work in a diverse and global society. We hope this event continues to inspire our members to tap their own power to change the world around them.
