ASGW Leadership Institute

You are invited to apply to participate in ASGW’s Virtual Leadership Institute. The Leadership Institute allows you to join a cohort of specialists in group work to engage in professional development and advance your leadership skills and competency in effectively delivering culturally responsive and social justice-oriented group services. As a member of the Leadership Institute, you will be in a cohort of 4-6 members where you will engage in virtual webinars and apply your learning in a group setting.

Eligibility:

All ASGW members engaged in doctoral-level study and individuals who have graduated from a master’s or doctoral program within the last two years are invited to apply. Special consideration will be given to applicants demonstrating a strong passion for social justice, a commitment to embracing and celebrating diversity, and an interest in this year’s ASGW 2024/2025 initiative, culturally responsive group services to the Black community.

Deadline:

The deadline for applying is Monday, January 6, 2025, by 11:59 PM EST. Notification of acceptance will be emailed by Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
